Printer's Devil
Today's edition of The Economic Times read, 'Thursday October 30, 2007'. I don't know if this error crept up only in Bangalore edition OR if it's the same across the country. I know the SENSEX and the NIFTY are galloping away uncontrolled, investors are completely consumed by this heady sensexonal feeling. And of course the headlines are all about 20,000. But then, today is NOT Thursday. And, today is NOT Thursday October 30, 2007!
Did anyone else notice this? It's true that The Times of India has the dubious distinction/record for carrying the largest number of errors (typo and otherwise) in a column (editorial piece) but this was like stretching the limit (the age of Lycra I guess)!
